Manufacturing/Production Quality Technician

Responsible for validating food quality operational objectives by implementing production/quality/customer standards. Identify and resolves issues; completes internal audits, suggest system improvements, implementing process changes.
Assures Quality food products and process by enforcing food safety programs.
Reinforces quality/food safty program with production personnel to support ingredient control, proper storage practices, customer specifications, GMP and traceability accuracy.
Maintain and improve product quality by investigating issues on the line.
Ensures compliance with FDA, SQF, HAACP, and Federal, State, Local agencies.
Support lab as needed to complete testing of products.
Pre-op GMP audits where needed.
Assist third party audits.
Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field a plus.
Prefer at least 1 year working as a quality technician in a production environment. Food production preferred.
Degree in Food Science, Biology, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
Strong computer and data skills.
